Bast-Ing Schleiferl Light – lightweight sharpening tool

The “Grinder – light” with a new design, new material and further developed details. The low weight and improved feel make sharpening chainsaws even more enjoyable. The special sanding belt ensures maximum sharpness with a long service life.

The grinder sharpens the chainsaw using a sanding belt. The fine sanding belt gives the chain a unique sharpness. Chains can be sharpened quickly using the bit screwdriver drive.

The grinder works with the appropriate grinding shaft for both the small chains for cordless saws (1/4″P) and the large harvester chains (.404″).

The scope of delivery includes a grinding shaft which fits the 0.325" and 3/8" chain pitch .

Practical tip for sanding belt life: High speed + low contact pressure = long sanding belt life.

Abrasive grains can wear down to the micrometer range, but they need enough time to be able to work on the steel. Too much grinding pressure will cause the entire grain to tear off the sanding belt. High belt speeds and low contact pressure give the abrasive grain time to work on the sawtooth.
