Short, compact, ready to use hatchet with a 50 cm hickory handle. Head weight: 1250 g. Better Safety Greater Effect with the patented ROTBAND-PLUS system which brings you a steel handle protector, ring wedge, securing plate and screw which essentially make head and handle one item and provide an absolutely secure join between the two. Very long lasting and very good value for money. Replacement handles come complete with steel protector, securing plate and screw in the very unlikely event of one being needed. Tested by the German Forestry Association (FPA) and German Health and Safety agencies (GS and VPA).
